AI Rewriter Beta
Rewrite text in a different tone, or transform it — shorten, expand, paraphrase, fix grammar, or improve clarity. Rewriting runs server-side via an AI API — see the FAQ below for why.

Frequently asked questions
Does this run in my browser like the other tools here?
No — like AI Summarizer and AI Translator, this tool genuinely needs a real AI language model, so your pasted text is sent to our server, which relays it to an AI API to rewrite it, then sends the result back to you. It is not saved or logged anywhere afterward.
What's the difference between Rewrite and Transform?
Rewrite changes the tone or voice (Professional, Casual, Simple, Formal, Friendly, Persuasive) while keeping the same meaning and roughly the same length. Transform changes the text's structure instead — Shorten and Expand change its length, Paraphrase reworks the wording, Fix grammar corrects errors with minimal other changes, and Improve clarity untangles confusing sentences.
Will it change the meaning of my text?
No — every mode is instructed to preserve the original meaning and not add facts, claims, or opinions that weren't in your original text. Fix grammar in particular only touches actual errors, not style choices that are already correct.
Is there a length limit?
Yes — about 8,000 characters per rewrite. Longer input is automatically truncated to that limit rather than rejected outright.
Can the text I'm rewriting contain instructions that change what the AI does?
No — your text is always treated strictly as content to rewrite, never as instructions for the AI to follow, even if it contains something that looks like a command.
Your files are never uploaded. Gotool.xyz runs entirely as JavaScript in your browser. Your files are processed in memory and never touch a server — nothing to breach, nothing to clean up. Close the tab and it's like it never happened. The only thing we count is which tool ran (just the name, e.g. "merge") so we know what people find useful — never your file, its name, its size, or anything in it.
