What chart types are available?
Bar, line, and pie.
Can I choose the colors used in the chart?
Not individually — each row is assigned its own color automatically, spread evenly around the color wheel so up to the 12-row limit, no two colors repeat.
What are Sample A and Sample B?
Two ready-made datasets for trying the tool. A is the simple 4-row example matching the placeholder text; B has 6 rows across a different subject. Show A / Show B swap which one the chart above displays, in your current chart type — Copy grabs either one’s data to paste into the field below.
What happens if I click Generate without entering any data?
You’ll see whichever sample, A or B, is currently shown on the chart above — generated fresh, with its name as the title. Enter your own data and generate again to replace it.
Are negative values allowed?
No, values must be zero or positive. A pie chart also needs at least one value greater than zero.
Is my data ever uploaded anywhere?
No — the chart is drawn entirely in your browser using the canvas API; nothing you type is sent to a server.
What format does the chart download as?
PNG or JPG — both buttons appear once the chart is generated.
Your files are never uploaded. Gotool.xyz runs entirely as JavaScript in your browser. Your files are processed in memory and never touch a server — nothing to breach, nothing to clean up. Close the tab and it's like it never happened. The only thing we count is which tool ran (just the name, e.g. "merge") so we know what people find useful — never your file, its name, its size, or anything in it.
