Frequently asked questions

Is Gotool.xyz really free?

Yes. Every tool listed here is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermarks, and no page or file-size limits beyond what your own browser can handle.

Do I need to upload my files?

No. Every tool runs as JavaScript inside your browser tab. Your files are never sent to a server — they're processed in memory and forgotten the moment you close the tab.

What file types are supported?

PDF, DOCX (Word), PPTX (PowerPoint), XLSX/XLS/CSV (Excel), JPG/PNG images, and common video and audio formats, depending on the tool.

Will converted files look exactly like the original?

It depends on the tool. Some conversions, like PDF to PowerPoint, are pixel-perfect snapshots. Others, like PDF to Word, extract text and rebuild it, so complex layouts and images may not carry over exactly. Each tool explains what to expect before you convert.

Does this work on mobile?

Yes — every tool here works the same way in a phone or tablet's browser as it does on desktop, just with a touch-friendly layout.

How do I find the right tool quickly?

Use the search icon in the nav bar, or the category tabs above the grid — both narrow the list down instantly as you type or click.

How it works

01

Choose a tool

Pick from the grid above — organize, convert, or whatever's next as we add more.

02

Drop your files

They load straight into this tab's memory — no upload happens.

03

Download the result

Gotool.xyz hands the finished file back to you. That's the whole job.

Your files are never uploaded. Gotool.xyz runs entirely as JavaScript in your browser. Your files are processed in memory and never touch a server — nothing to breach, nothing to clean up. Close the tab and it's like it never happened. The only thing we count is which tool ran (just the name, e.g. "merge") so we know what people find useful — never your file, its name, its size, or anything in it.
