- Upload a photo, or capture one directly with your camera.
- Pick a document preset — Singapore, US/India passport, UK, Schengen, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Canada, China visa, or a custom size in millimeters.
- If the background isn't already plain, click Auto-remove background — it detects the color connected to the photo's edges and makes it transparent, adjustable with a tolerance slider.
- Drag the photo to reposition it, use the zoom slider to fit your face inside the guide oval, and pick a backdrop color to fill any transparent areas.
- Download the single photo as a PNG or JPG at exact print resolution, or a 4×6″ print sheet tiled with as many copies as fit.

Does this check my photo against official passport requirements?
No — the guide oval is a general framing aid, not an official compliance check. Always confirm against your country's current passport or visa photo rules before submitting.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No — everything is drawn on a canvas in your browser, including camera capture and background removal. Nothing leaves your device.
My photo's background isn't plain white — can this fix that?
Click "Auto-remove background" — it detects the color connected to your photo's edges and makes it transparent (works best on plain, fairly even backgrounds), then pick a backdrop color to fill it in. For trickier backgrounds or fine touch-up, the standalone Background Remover tool adds an edit brush.
What resolution is the download?
Every preset renders at 300 DPI (print resolution) — for example, the Singapore preset downloads at exactly 400×514 pixels, its official published pixel spec.
Can I print several copies on one sheet?
Yes — "Download print sheet" tiles as many copies of your photo as fit on a 4×6″ sheet, with light cut lines between them, ready for any photo printer.
Your files are never uploaded. Gotool.xyz runs entirely as JavaScript in your browser. Your files are processed in memory and never touch a server — nothing to breach, nothing to clean up. Close the tab and it's like it never happened. The only thing we count is which tool ran (just the name, e.g. "merge") so we know what people find useful — never your file, its name, its size, or anything in it.
